Getting Started on Theory?

Post by Raif2032 »

Hey guys, I am looking to start writing some more complex music on guitar that isn't just G-C-D progressions and I was wondering where you guys would start? Are there any particular tricks, books, websites, etc. that helped you starting to write some more advanced rifts?

Aprreciate any comments and the like, peace.

I have a book called Guitar Scales by Peter Packow and it has the basics in scales and modes and everything. And do a google for penatonic scales they help a lot too.
