alen wrench for takamine

hey guys, my friends takamine has a bit of a warped neck. The alen or allen wrench i use for my martin is a bit too big. so i was wondering for all you tak owners, what size tool will work for your tak, since i assume they are all the same by brand of guitar. i could be wrong though.. ex. for my martin its a 7mm wrench i believe. thanks alot!!

most alan wrenches come in sets with like 8 or so, just try out sizes until 1 works..... might be a metric size since taks are made in a foreign country.

thanks guys, i do have a set of them its just they are all together in a pocket knife form (if that makes sense) ahaha and there are like 5 or 6 in there and of them, none fit right. but thanks anyways. a new set ill be getting

get a metric set, since the guitar is made in japan they are in metric most likely.

Takamines arent made in Japan. Try Korea.

Very true. United States is one of very few countries that doesnt use metric, about 99% of the rest of the world does.

thats why i say foreign... the rest of the world is metric... thusly foreign countries use metric.

Just be super careful doing neck adjustments! It's easy to fuck it up bad if you don't know what yo're doing.

o yeah be careful. you shouldnt have to turn it more than a 1/4 of a turn or so.
