Does anyone else like the sound of a good soundhole pickup? I've had trouble with undersaddle and bridgeplate transducers(feedback, sound tubby), And I know soundhole pickups are pretty much plug and play. I was thinking about buying a sunrise soundhole pickup and mabey having an undersaddle pickup to mix in with it, or is having 2 sources more troublesome.
I have a soundhole pickup in my Michael Kelly. I got a Fishman Neo-D. It short, and small, black, and fits more twards the neck, and out of the way of strumming. It sounds fine to me. I play and record with it, and never had a problem. It's about 70 bucks.
