What guitar should i buy?

Post by Phish0742 »

I recently got a good job and now i have money to buy a new guitar. I have been using a $199 yamaha since i started 2 and a half years ago. Im planning on throwing $600-$700 down. I like ovations and taylors but i dont know what I should buy. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Brett

Unless you are going to be performing, don't get an Ovation. They are nice and good onstage, but acousticly, get something else.

the D-15 is a good guitar. I don't trust Cheap taylors, but even though I prefer martins, when you get to around 1000 and up, you got some really nice taylors. But, for the money you have, get the D-15. It is actualy a guitar you can keep and perform with forever. So unless you can rank out enough cash for a good taylor, go for Martins.

Look at Larrivee's for right around 700-800$ you can get an 03R series. Great guitar for the money.
