When The World Ends

I recently saw that people were putting this down as one of the hardest songs to play in another post. I can play most other songs but have never tried this one. I get the tabs off this site and tried messing around with them and listening to the song but I cant really get the changes right. Does anyone have a video/recording of it, I think it would be a lot easier to just hear the guitar part or to see someone play it, thanks.

Its on the new DVD of Folsom Field. I'm not sure of this but I also think it was on the video of Dave at Virgin Records in England.

The rhythm is hard at first to get down. The code bellow might help. This is how it sounds to me. The arrows indicate upstroke or down. sorry if the code looks whack, first time trying to put up tab in a forum.

yeah that looks fu#$'d up. sorry. Essentially, i play a little shuffle before each chord with the root, for 7,5,12, and then downstroke once on 10 and shuffle the chord, down stroke 8, upstroke chord, start over. sorry if that doesn't make sense.

If you approach it from of view of "man these are some f***ed up chords" your gonna be screwed... but a few minutes of good practice and it becomes second nature...

I find it helps me to listen to like an MP3 version of just dave or dave and tim, with headphones.

I dont have a problem with the chords, theyre just regular dave chords, I just couldnt get it to sound like it does on the album, Im getting there though, thanks everyone.

I got the verse on this song good and can play all the chords fine, the chorus kinda screws me up a little though. Can someone post the chord changes with the lyrics for me, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try and find the version from Dave's Virgin Megastore performance. It helps a lot to hear it solo. It's a fun song to play, too.

Off Kazaa, is it video or audio? What should I search for specifically? Thanks, Im looking on kazaa right now and havent found it yet so thats why Im askin for all the input.
