What kind do you use?
Me, I use what Dave does, and by far the best pick I've ever used.
Dunlop Tortex .60 mm Orange.

i have to say my .5" fingers as well...
it is rare to see me using a pick, i use 1.00's when i do

same, but i use the .6mm. those kick ass, never break, but still have like the great sound and quality of the tortex... i got bored tried to break one, got a pair of pliers, took a few minutes, but i finaly broke one, it was pretty damn hard though.

fingers sound like shit IMO unless it's on bass...bass, it gives it a nice fat tone, and guitar, its almost transparent to me.

I just turn up the higher freqs to give it some more attack.
A pick = ONE pick
Fingers = FIVE picks
The advantage is quite obvious.

I play fingerstyle about 80% of the time currently, but I don't play with much nail.
My favorite picks are blue Dunlop tortex's. 1 MM, I think they are.
