i have cakewlak and it came with that liek trial version of an mp3 encoder but you can only use it like 10 times and then it expires.
I was jsut wonderign if theres a free version of somethin glike that so i dont ahve to pay 30$ sicne id ont ahve that at the moment. I have cooledit pro too.....does that have anything?

Just export it as a wav and convert it in winamp. There are plenty of other programs that will do it though. I found another one
here

Get Exact Audio Copy. You can compress wavs to mp3s in it/ rip cds/ many other things
