so, what dave songs do you play for a warm up before you get into the more fast paced finger songs?

I usually start with liog, wayg, grey street or #41...I need an easy song to get these rusty fingers rollin

I dont really need to warm up but Id probably play a little satellite verse

the only dave song i do for warmup is crash into billies, and usually ill just open with that. i do the first verse of crash into me, then before that whole thing starts over i go into the nature intro.

before i play for people i just go through some scales, and do that 20 min workout i posted in general guitar, but i only do it for 10.

Theres this part that timmy plays on D&T versions of LIOG I always play. (Its during I'm blown AWAY...) Help Myself is also a great warmup.

Ugh........The truth is I made it up, so it isn't totally accurate, but it sounds like what the sax plays and looks like what timmy plays, sortof (based on watching him at D&F). I do that with timmy parts all the time if I can't find a tab. Regardless, it sounds great played along with the CDs.

BTW, How do you get a blank tab so you can merely insert the fret numbers into it? I am often reluctant to tab stuff because I hate having to put a shit load of hyphens down and then sweat to make sure they line up properly. How do you guys do that "code" thingy?
