I wonder if he's switched to a newer one for the ES pickup. I know Tim recently got one (714CE with ES).

Nope, he still has the same one.. he doesn't use taylor electronics, does he?

You can tell he has the same one due to the cindy inlay, which is only made from 2000-2001 i believe

He's got a tour set up, starting on the West Coast in August, and going to the East in September, and there's a 2 CD set that he's working on and finishing up.

He got it last year. But, still with D&T he played his D-35 (not sure if he used his D12-35 at all), not his taylor. He likes his new Taylor, but I believe I read in some interview he likes his D-35s the most. He has also said he likes Martins since they can take a good beating and still sound great.

I thought he picked one up after the Spring '03 tour...that was why he didn't play it on that tour.
