how often do you put on new strings

Edit: Depending on money in the bank. Normall that's how often I SHOULD change them.

depends on the cash flow... i usually change out with some cheap phosphor bronzes every 2 weeks or so, since i like those the best anyways... if i feel poor or lazy i just pay for EXP's and then leave them on for a couple months, they dont sound as good as phosphor bronzes but they keep the same kind of tone for a long time for me

i usually change them a few days before a show
but if im not playing anything for a while, ive left them on for up to 6 months

My 12 string, yeah, that sucker gets them changed when I have 1) the time to do it 2) the energy 3) again, the money, 12 strings is expensive.

changing strings on a 12 string is definetly not fun.

If I had the $$ I'd do it every other week.

As it is I think once a month is the most I'd go. Especially in this godforsaken jungle climate people call Washington DC

Even though I have the A/C on all the time, the strings still dull out fairly quickly.
