Ok, something weird is going on...In victors book "the best of victor wooten" when he transcribed his song you cant hold no groove he has a section where hes strumming
-3-3-3-3-3
-7-7-7-7-7
-3-3-3-3-3
------------

anybody able to do this? victors a small guy and im pretty big with big hands but I cant do it. I can just hold a steady 3 to 6 while strumming. I cant even reach to the 7th.

is it possible that his bass' neck is made smaller that the norm? and can anybody here do this strum?

barre the 3's with your index and get the 7 with your pinky. easier said then done, for sure. took me almost an hour to get it without buzzing

damn haha, i can only strech to the 7th frets metal metal divider. and of course that isnt gonna come out clean if i hold it on the metal. is like physically impossible to go any further it seems (for me that is)
