Police Tab (Dave Chords)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Police Tab (Dave Chords)

Post by firedancer86 »

Here is simple proof that you can use these chords and not sound like Dave because, well it was before him!

The stacked fifths in the intro/verses are the same as used in Warehouse, Satellite etc.

I think this is actually a John Mayer cover of the song, but this is how it was originaly played.

Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

oh those ones
yeah i can see why
but if youre referring to the tab of the granny chorus here on the site, its way off

heres the REAL tab to the chorus of granny

E-----x-------x--------x----------------
B-----7-------6--------3----------------
G-----7-------5--------2-----------------
D-----7-------3--------0------------------
A---5-5-------x--------0-------------------
E------------6-6-----3-3------------------

those are the right chords
i dont know why it is tabbed the other way on the site

I don't know if I'd say that Sting was better while with the Police. All I have to say is that Ten Summoner's Tales freaking RULES. THAT is an album. Wow. I think it's the best that has come from either his solo time or time with the Police.
