busted out the electric tonight!!

i got the itch tonight so i laid down watchtower on the acoustic and then had some fun playing lead on the electric for it

first solo i've played in a while so i was a bit rusty, but i still got into it

Heh, wasn't bad.. nice job matty.. the other day i played bass for a bunch of my friends.. just to clairify, i don't play bass.. we played watchtower and they were like"Play the intro solo like stefan" and i just threw some shit together that sounded decent..lol good job, keep up the work

Lemme improve on that.. the vocals need work and the soloing seemed too much at some points.. good though..

yea i did the vocals/rhythm in one shot just so i could lay the lead over it so i didn't put much effort into that part

and the lead was two takes so i was trying to pick and choose through too much on the fly i suppose

I really liked it Matty. I thought the lead was a bit much at points, mainly the beginning. If you would have cut a few secs off I think it would be alot better. The vocals weren't too shabby. Still need some work though, not that I can talk, but, ya know

hey matty, nice job. only got a couple things to say about it.

sometimes your lead parts seemed a bit repetitive. just an observation.

vocals were better than i could do, but could still use some work. you can at least make it work heh, as opposed to me who wouldnt be able to sing if i practiced for months.

i play the rhythm a little different than you... i hold out the F longer. just food for thought. i think dave does it too, unless you were makin it your own. but then again thats what you did through a lot of the song.

overall, nice job.

hey thanks for being blunt with me, i do appreciate that

but like i said, i hadn't played lead in a while so i guess it was perdy bad huh

and shane...i run out of ideas quick these days when i just pick up the electric once a month or so
