just ordered the D'Adarrio EXP15 extra light strings.


are they any good?

Depends on if you like coated strings. I don't really like how coated strings sound, but if you like coated strings, then the EXP's are great. I personally prefer lights (16), but that's just a matter of preference. You might want to try out a pack of EJ16's next time you're out (or EJ15's if you want the extra lights). They're uncoated so they don't last as long, but I like the tone a lot more.

I love the EXPs. They dont sacrifice much tone unlike elixers and they still last a good while.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.
