Granny????

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

the finger fretting the e string will naturally lay over those strings and mute them

if it's not, then work on doing it

don't start out on this song. It's got a weird rythm change in it that will frustrate you in the end. Go for simpiler stuff with more of a steady rythm. Start off with something like DDTW.

I find Granny to be one of the easier ones. Just learn the song in it's three parts and then mesh them together.

Yeah, it is a pretty easy song to learn once you've got the rythym down for it ;-)

the only part of this song i cant do very well is changing to that G, cuz sometimes my pinky will lock up from the previous two chords, and i have to take a second to make it flexible again, then play it, so there is like a one or two second pause inbetween there, perhaps i could just call it a dramatic pause or a pause for emphasis, or perhaps to let the previous chord ring out...oh hell

Does anyone know what those two chords are called. The ones during the LOVE part?
