i just found a cover of dave singing with AGR (agents of good roots), they sang "riders on the storm" by the doors and dave says funny fucked up things. anyone else heard it?

I really think that Jim Morrison is overrated. You kill yourself and you automatically become a legend. Kurt Cobain is the same way.

I agree with you on the whole Kurt Cobain thing...I just don't see that. I laugh when people say that he is "the John Lennon of our generation". Please, give me a break!!

kinda the same with sid vicious from the sex pistols, he dies of a heroine overdose and he's considered one of the kings of punk music.

there are some that have passed on early that aren't overrated. Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Elliot Smith, etc., but Elliot Smith did commit suicide and it's debatable whether Nick Drake did.
