A few days later Steve Harris got them back in a room together and they decided to fire Lillywhite, and as we all know they have never been the same since.

So Carter is really the one to blame. Throughout the years there has always been rumblings that he is a pretty big asshole and can be very difficult to work with.

A guy on another board, who is in the know and who has always dropped information here and there throughout the years, was talking about it the other day. It is nice to finally know what happened and who took whose side.

People have always talked about how Carter was never thrilled with how he sounded with Lillywhite's production. I bet it his frustration had been festering up for years and those sessions finally brought it out. That is just my guess though, I don't know for sure.

It would be funny if the album actually ended up being good, just because everyone is getting all worked up about it.

I don't believe any of us can say what they will and will not do, or what is in store for their future. I understand you can predict and make assumptions based on the past, but unless your on a personal, friendship basis with anyone in the band, you might as well go saying whatever you want about them cause it's probably as true as any other comment made about them. The past can tell a lot about the future but not everything in the world follows a pattern.
