What's going on with the new DMB album?
We have so many ideas, but they haven't found a comfort zone. None of it's bad, but there's nothing that grabs us yet. So we said, "It's not working now," and everyone agreed. We're not forcing things here.

What one DMB song are you most excited about dragging out of the vaults this summer?
We played it a couple times last summer, but I'd like to play "The Last Stop" enough times that it becomes second nature. That's the bastard I wanna bring out.

sounds better then the alternative...

example:

"Oh it's great everything we come up with just sticks and we have been finishing whole songs like 3 or 4 of them in a day"

exactly. I'd rather it be this than what we had with SU. Even if it means taking forever to get a new album. I'd rather have less songs that suck, please

I'm happy to hear they are taking their time. I would rather wait longer for the album than get a new one soon that just utterly sucked. Probably not the best idea, but I'm getting my hopes up a little bit. At least they are being smarter about it this time.

yes, yes lillywhite scenario! This way they will drop Batson, wise up, and maybe the album will be delayed by a year, but it will be much better. Ok, so it's a different scenario really but the dropping the producer part would be good at least.

That would probably be the best DMB news in awhile to hear in an interview or something that the band is sick/tired/fed-up with Batson and are deciding to self-produce or go with (insert non-pop music producer here)
