wow, that story about the kid getting into the studio because of his dad selling the band floor seats just screams bullshit to me. The band could probably get great seats to any NBA game if they wanted to, and the fact that they would just let some random kid into the studio to look around, knowing full well that he could leak info about the album online? Some guy at ants that is a graphic designer or something (photoshop is his bitch...) went through and showed a bunch of stuff that pointed to it being ligit, and if it was faked it would be a pretty amazing job.

In other news, someone's brothers second cousin twice removed that works at a radio station said that all the big radio stations are set to receive the new single digitally on Feb. 23 at 10am.

Reynolds says the increasingly buzzed about and currently untitled DMB record is still in the works, but thinks fans will find it worth the wait, seeing as how the album combines the slightly retooled lineup following the death of saxophonist LeRoi Moore with the production talents of Rob Cavallo.

“The new record is going to be – it’s hard to come up with a word for it – but maybe ‘expansive’ would be a good way to put it,” Reynolds says of the record, slated for an April release. Reynolds even likens the stylistic transition to that of the Beatles jumping from “I Want to Hold Your Hand” to Sgt. Pepper’s – but insists that DMB is not the Beatles, nor is any other band.

Someone was saying there was no way the rumored EP would be any good if they put Cornbread on it, so I said "So what you're saying is you hate pussy?" and then put a lot of spaces and wrote "faggot...". What was really funny was one of the moderators added an edit to the bottom of my post that said "EDIT: I earned myself a 2 week ban for being so rude. Let me help you remember not to do this, or you'll receive your due reward too.". I guess Ants does not approve of people being gay.
