i live 20 min away from alpine, i just go home, but the bong campsite isn't that bad. there are other campsites that are much closer to alpine than that though

i've been listening to some older DMB lately, really appreciating Roi's playing again. Much more aggressive and more willing to take chances than nowadays it seems. I wish Roi would be willing to step out more on these recent tours.

Listening to the radio city show again. Thought I'd give Tim's solo another chance since I didn't really like his solo on LIOG the first time I heard it, and WOW, what the hell, Tim??? I mean, yeah, you can hang on to a note for a while, that's cool, but he takes it passed the point of sounding cool and to the point where it's absurd. Fuck, this pisses me off that this version of the song, the first live release version we get, has a crappy solo. Oh well, at least we're even getting another D&T release

I'll definitely still get it when it comes out, but it just pisses me off that Tim would pull some crap like that when he knows the show is going to be released.

Yeah, Tim is a phenomenal player, but he has his bits where he becomes a little... maybe more eccentric than normal
