Song Keys

Ok so my guitar instructor told me to find the key of the song (I suck at theory) and the only the only 2 chords are C and G7, and I think the keys for sharps go fcgdaeb I believe so would the key of the song be in F?

I'd go with C. That would be the most natural progression, the easiest on the ears. The V-I progression is VERY common in just about any style of music. You can hear how easily the V (/five, the G7) resolves to the I (/one, the C).

Of course it would end up being that simple, i didnt even think of how the V of the C major scale was G, thanks a lot

Easy way for this one is that you have the G7. The only Dom7 chord in a key is the V.
