Finding that voice

This question is to those that have found the voice of the music gods...How long does it take to have the gods speak to you? I have been playing for a year and only had it once...I was giving everything into it and they it appeared, for those that have seen heard it youy know what i'm talking about, help with some insight?

For me, it seems to come in waves. I'll struggle forever, then one day, bam, THE VOICE. Then I could go forever before I hear it again. I can look back and remember each time I heard THE VOICE, too.

Sometimes I hear it when I need it the most, other times.....I just keep pluggin' along.

While it's hard to put into words what you mean, I know exactly what you are speaking of.

the voice comes around a lot. unfortunately, it always goes and talks to my roommate.

you should just record at all times then. that way youll get it for sure.
