THE MSG SHOW ROCKED!! Many thanks to Heathcliff who got me a great seat and backstage passes. Tim was in kick ass form and played better than I thought he did on the spring tour. All the songs rocked. It was much fun.
Today I was walking down 5th avenue doing some Christmas shopping. I walked around a corner and THERE WAS DAVE!! He was leaving his hotel to goto the Letterman show!! Talk about luck!!
Here is a pic I took with my cell phone:
I decided to hang out in front of the hotel for 20 mins because there were 4 dmb groupies there who said they saw Tim walk in and out a couple times. Low and behold Tim ran out and tried to evade the fans hanging out. LOL They like ran him down after about half a block and made him sign some stuff. I caught up with them and Tim was cool enough to sign my ticket from last night which I had because it was in my travel bag which I had with me.
He asked where I was from and stuff. Pretty cool. He also has a huge blister thing on his left hand. I guess its from the mad playing he does.
Anyway. C000000L!!!!!

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
Not to hit a nerve or pry into your life but why can't you have a tv?
You aren't being held captive somewhere are you?
DO YOU NEED HELP!?!
Just kidding.....i hope!

That's no fair!!!! Now I wish we hung out back stage longer. We're they at the Peninsula again?
Great to meet you Subotai and what a great night!!!!
I highly recommend meeting up with other people from the board when you can, where and with who else can you actually talk about playing Dmb and guitar for hours!!!!!!!!!
In Providence, in order to get to the mall safely you could go into Dave's hotel and use the skywalk across. As we were leaving we were coming down the stairs and Dave's Security Guard, Darryl (sp?), gave me and my sister the stare down. When we got off the stairs he said to us, "I recognize you guys" We had talked to him at Camden earlier in the year. Asked us how we were doing and then retreated to get dave to go to the show. He is a real nice guy unless you make him mad. Now that im completely off topic let me get back. Thats a cool pic. Still want to meet Dave and Tim
I just got back last night from NYC. Actually put in for Letterman tickets to see Dave about a month ago but I got them for Tuesday instead of Thursday but oh well. It was neat to see Letterman anyway. Not as neat as the Dave concert at MSG. Great show!! I was 6 rows behind stage and they turned out to be EXCELLENT seats. I regret not bringing my digital camera in b/c I would have had excellent shots of the show.
