"Persistant" - mp3 jam.

Unread post by Xoosh » Sat Dec 13, 2003 7:26 pm

hey guys,
wanted to share this with everyone. it was an improv session that my bandmate and i did... the catch was that we were both blindfolded -- which is why when we start strumming chords we're countering each other really oddly... becasue i could only hear and not see what he was playing. The song was completely improvised... the mp3 starts about 5 seconds into the actual song because the first 5 seconds were us just agreeing on a key to stay in. also, i play most of the lead... agreed it's not super hot but i was also blindfolded =)

here's the link

enjoy,

Nice tune Xoosh , at 1:00 the picking on the e or B string , it sounds great , also at 4:08 - 4:16 very Timish  That was the best part in the whole tune in my opinion , that really made me go " SWEET " :)

The whole jam in itself was very good , solid playing , a few strings that sounds like a bit of mutes sometimes , but i think you played pretty high up the neck ? :)

Nice job bro , keep on posting new work :)

sounds good, You always like to do crazy experiments when recording(like being blindfolded). Sounds almost japanese at times if that makes sense, but either way good jam
