Broke my guitar

Post by 95_RipperZ »

Well being the dumbass that I am I got out of my lofted bed at night and swumg my leg hitting the guitar (on the stand) forward. It then hit the floor and the ead snapped. It did not come completely off until about 3 days later. It is a Washburn D11.

My question is. Should I get it fixed. This happened a couple of months ago and I bought my friend's Alvarez A/E guitar for $100 so I have something to play. Is it worth the money to get it fixed either by myself or a professional. I am not looking for it to be as good as new but just another guitar I can drag along with me places and not care if it gets nicks and such. Thanks. Oh I paid about $200 for it.

It's probably gonna cost an arm and a leg to get it fixed, so why don't ya just save up for a new guitar. when you save a few hundred bucks, sell the Alvarez, and by your self a Seagull S6+ cedar

good, and you?

Thats what I figured. Cost too much for what it is worth. I hate to see it go though. It was my first guitar. A decent one at that. <sniff, sniff> :(

Thanks.

Well..save the money....for a new guitar. But try to fix it yourself. FInd some real strong glue.

My Uncle fixed his own (cuz he's too cheap to pay to have it fixed) and it plays just fine.

Trying to fix it yourself out weighs just throwing it out....

Just my opinion

Peace,
