When Dave's sitting around...

Dave definitely takes a shit while just sitting around...as far as guitar playing, I would find it quite amusing to see him bust out So Much To Say or WWYS etc. just sitting on his couch...he prolly plays some of his favorite covers.

Other than his own songs, He probably plays songs by people that have influenced his songwriting, guys like hendrix, harper, pinkfloyd, or zepellin. I can just imagine him sitting on a couch, martin in hand, his wife beside him, his daughters on each knee, sipping a beer and playing stairway to heaven or wish you were here.

Im just curious Davy , where would the guitar fit in , if he has a daughter on each side while sipping a beer ?

he probably doesnt play at all to be honest. he has arthritis in his wrists and knees doesnt he? he gets enough play time on tours...i know taht when my band is playing 2 shows a week i dont play much outside of the practice... infact i never play outside of our practices...
