Do any of you own this? I tried it today at a local shop and was blown away. It is solid wood and sounds like a champ all for under 700 dollars.
I have been debating between this and a Larrivee OM but to be honest, this guitar has more balls.
Just seeing what yall thought

Guild acoustics are great. Their higher level models get really expensive but are well worth the money if you an dish it out. I support Guilds 100%

Looks pretty good.
At that price level, I guess it will probably depend a little bit on the guitar. So just try both...
But I guess you won't be disappointed with a Guild guitar.

If Im not mistaken, Guild is a Gibson daughter company. Ive never played, or even seen for that matter, a Guild OM, but I am in love with their dreads. Great company.

They are made by fender I believe. I would love a Gibson acoustic though, those guitars sound 100 years old out of the box.
This one doesnt sound old, but its very comparable to the larri OM just with more volume and punch.

Guild has long been a guitar company and Fender acquired the company relatively recently in its history.

They were made in RI before the company was sold apparently. Guitar store guy said the quality went downhill significantly. Most old Guilds sound very good, especially the 12's, wasn't impressed with new ones, even higher end.

actually, now that I think of it, the only Guilds Ive played have been at Andy's in Tallahassee (a vintage guitar shop)
its quite possible the newer ones dropped in quality
