Worked for me... I really enjoyed it, man; you did a fine job. Those sound like new strings on your guitar, by the way. I'm curious to know, are they?
It took me a while to be accepting of the droning D over the Loving Wings riff, but eventually it sounded really good (if that makes sense). You played the Loving Wings riff very well. So simple, yet hard to master. Sounded really good, man, keep up the good work.

Be excellent to one another.

Thanks alot Brian.

And yes, I changed them yesterday.

I got some studio time today to work on a Christmas album I'm putting together. Just my guitar.

I'm excited.

im so psyched to hear a cover of loving wings. i LOVEEEEE that song. it's one of my favorites live. so beautiful... watch out at :40 you get really muddy -- i like the energy you put into it... reminscent of granny which is definitely appropriate for the song =) but the song is delicate and fragile... just dont lose that when you start layering on tracks.
1:15 -- beautiful transition into it. the slide guitar was almost goofy becareful especially at like 1:26-1:35... because the gutiar you play is very full of boisterous presence which i think is SO befitting of bartender... but because baretender is such a stripped down bare dmb song you shoulde definitely have had mor efun with the soloing... 2:13 or so it gets MAD muddy, watch out that strumming stuff.. if you're goingn to layer strumming make sure you pay attentiong to strumming... i find the best way to layer strumming is to have one guitar doing the basic down beat, and the other doing cool stuff... instead of both trying to do unique rhythms.... it's really hard to pull off..
2:50 or so really gets into the heart of that part of the song... 3:00 AWESOME!!!
=-)
cool stuff, watch out the muddiness seems to be a weird problem for you, because most of the song is so good, you dont want to detract from the elligance of the songs =)
regards,
x

hey thanks so much for such an in depth critique. I really appreciate it, especially coming from a guy like you.

I never really thought of this...That seems to be my problem, which probably explains my muddiness.

thanks so much again.
