i'm testing this method out right now. i just threw a song into cool edit, chopped it up, attached it to an email, and i'm waiting for it to arrive to my phone. for some reason i don't think emailing it to my number @vzw.com is going to work though

did it send it as a picture???, i haven't tried it yet, i do have VZW though

Hmmmm...it doesn't make sense, but I know on my phone (an LG) it works just fine, but then my roommate has a motorola and he can't set a sound from a text as his ringtone, so it might also depend on what type of phone you have.

yeah i have an LG too..and i can send myself a sound as a text message, but when i try to do it from my computer it doesn't work. i can't get to the attachment for some reason

When you record something on your phone (an lg, thats what i have as well) how do you set that as your ringtone???

you have to send the sound to yourself as a text message and then you can save it as a ringtone. after you save it as a ringtone you can set it.

I do have a bluetooth enabled phone, but how would i send an mp3 to it through my computer and then set that as my ringtone??
