why dont people like DMB?

i was talking with some people about the shows at wrigely field this summer on a cubs forum, and there were a few people there that liked him, and then a few that didnt... i was just wondering what people hear is the most used excuse that people dont like the band? i usually get that people dont like his voice, but a guy brought up daves political views, and that people might be put off.... what do you guys think?

Voice, politics, jams, instrumentation, "everyone likes them," and, "only toolbags listen to Dave Matthews" are some of the excuses I've heard. But I don't really give a damn and I don't know why anyone else does either. So a person has stupid reasons for disliking music. Whatever.

I hardly listen to dmb anymore for two reasons:
1. Their new stuff is terrible (Down by the bayyyyOOOOW)
2. I'm burned out on their old stuff. Listening to a band almost exclusively for three years will do that to you.
