yeah, that's what i was thinking.

at first i thought it was a OM body style, but then i thought it looked a little smaller, and since it says OO, I'm assuming that's something different.

i believe it is the same as the martin OM's. some refer to them as folk guitars. just a manufacturers name for a body style. john mayer plkays one often. i dont liek them.

That is not true, there is a huge difference in some guitars Ive played
Yeah, I've played a 410 and a 410CE and you can definitely tell the difference. And physically, it makes sense.
i refuse to believe you can hear the difference between a 410 and a 410CE.

and congrats you agree with kahn on somethign. i hope you feel dirty.

Parlors are smaller than OM bodies. They were popular in the 50's during the whole Folk revival. The L model is similar to the OM body style, but the shoulders are a little narrower and rounded off where as the OM is almost like they took a dread and piched it at the sides.

what kahn said made sense. not sure what manufacturer you werre refering to. does martin and larrivee both make a parlor?

regardless, i would just look at a dread.

Most everyone makes a Parlor model. It was popular in the 50s cause they were easy and cheap to make and had a nice folk sound. I would NEVER buy one because I think they are stupid and nostalgic

my sister in law bought a Seagul, but i think they call it a "folk". it sounds decent, plays and looks like ass.
