Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

i just can't get into that song, Brian loves it though for some reason
i love it too. its by no means epic, but for a short DMB song, its on my favorites.

do you like the d&t versions?
they are alright, i dont know, either way D&T or DMB, the song just kinda sits there for me
The first time I heard it was live, at my first dave show, and I have loved it since. It's got some sort of sentimental value for me, I think. In a strange sort of way.
I can understand why some might not like it so much, though.
I don't mind the D&T versions with the not stupidly-abrupt ending. Just cutting the song of at a random syllable is a microcosm for all the bad things that occurred on that record.

Grachi wrote:i like the random stop. very appropriate and clever with what the songs about . It's different then the typical fade out or sustain of one chord/note
yeah i always thought it stopped abruptly because the world ended
