i love it solo, dandT and full band ,

its the song that works best through all three medians
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

I like when songs are extended, but 20 minutes come on. Pull out some old stuff that you haven't played in awhile instead. I would enjoy that a lot more than just seeing one song.
My guitars:
Taylor 714
Taylor 614ce
Martin Sigma DR-41
Epiphone Chet Atkins SST (Ebony)
Danelectro 56-U2 reissue
Fender American Deluxe Strat
Fender Aerodyne Telecaster
BC Rich Eagle Custom

Sure it needs to be cut back down to 10 minutes live. Butch's solo is so out of place, but in your first post you mentioned the studio cuts being boring which I could not disagree with more.

i think its a great song, butch absolutely throws down and you gata love it, i agree tho it can get a little boring if you listen to it alot. i thought the one from fenway was the perfect length and the solo was great, but maybe thats just cuz i was there

Let's just say I don't stop pressing the >> button on my CD player when I get to it.

edit: While I'm posting in this thread, I might as well add that I don't really like Gravedigger either.

yeah, "It's alright, not one of my faves" sums it up pretty well for me. I like the song. i know why it is awesome. I just dont get all that into it. live i am excited when they play it, but even on a live recording i cant get into it.

I've listened to it a couple of times. Didn't like it when I first heard it. Tried again later, still didn't like. Then again. I don't know why, I just can never get into this song. The only version I heard that I really liked was a Dave solo version that was only about 4-5 minutes long.

lyrics the one of dave's best work
the jam has this "divine" type sound to it with dave wailing over top, one of my favorites.
Just the whole groove to it is great
