I was wondering how many solo and or D&T Best of What's Around's there are available for download out there...if there are a few.....can someone please upload them?

The one I posted is from the studio session in 1993, there is another 10 minute version which is a soundboard from a live show. Which one do you have?

Neither, this one is 4:53 long and Dave's 'ahh ahhh ahh ohhh ohhh' intro is slightly lower pitched than the one you sent me.
I'm pretty sure it's not live because you can hear the drum beats echoing.

Sounds like it is another take from that studio session in 93 because Boyd is not on either of these two tracks and was not at that studio session

Dave and Tim play the tune occasionally, but the only dave solo copy I know of is one from the early Rutebega Sessions. I'm not a big fan of his voice during the early years so I don't have that tape - sorry.

Here's the one off of the Lost Acoustics from 2.5.1999.

I like his voice from the earlier stuff.

I remember listening to the Rutebega sessions and hating his voice. I just went back and listened to a few of the tracks off of the '93 Prism Coffee and Record Exchange tapes and didn't have the same disdain for his voice. Maybe it's just the particular recording, but i think during rutebega he sounds too whiny.
