this is a repost by the way...somebody requested :)

I did it all in one quick sitting...making up all the stuff pretty much on the fly...reading the lyrics off my computer screen...if you know me, then you know the deal with how I approach covers :P

any and all thoughts are welcome

That was rad. I really liked the layered sound you got. Excellent job creating a new feel for each verse and the build in tension was great. The end jam was off the hook. My only nitpick is that it got a little too busy at times. I really enjoyed this one.

Wow, not much to say except another exceptional cover. Although I did click on this thread because the title sounded like Jason ;)

i didn't really like the layers, i thought it sounded kinda jumbled. the solos between the verses were awesome. great vocals too. good job though, i enjoyed it a lot.

damn man, that was great, really liked the chords in the background of the main little riff - like your voice, really likes this cover a lot :D

Wow, damn fine work. Question, what are you playing over the intro, and do you play the ending of the chorus the same way its on the site? And is there and way you could tell me the chords youre playing towards the end of the songduring the jam thing? My only criticism would be form 5:00 to 5:05 or so, maybe a little longer, sounded a little off. Not that I could anything anywhere near that good anyway, just lettin you know. What do you record with? Sorry for the onslaught of questions and the minimal critique but it doesnt seem like youre really looking for one, nor does it need one. Good job once again man.

gosh, you act like you don't know me :P
::not a clue what I was playing...I sat down with the mp3 10 minutes before I started recording...I can probably go back and use my ear to pick some stuff outfor ya
::as for the off-spots, heh...my recordings tend to do that when I am illprepared...just slapping layers over one-another
::I use my Boss BR-8 to record all of my stuff

thanks everybody :D
