DMBshare.org on DC

Why can I never get this to work? I am using the right hub addy aren't I? I go to the DMBshare.org page and click on that link for the hub, and I can't ever get it to connect. It just sits idly. Any ideas?

You have a firewall running ? It might be blocking the port that its running on

It might be that bc I am on at Rutgers, but I can connect to other public hubs. Grrr

I think it was Speen who was on Rutgers who couldnt connect either...

I'm at Toledo and my AIM gets fucked with a bunch, but DC++ works fine! A little too fine in fact, I can DL a full Divx movie in about 5 minutes on our schools hub

5 minutes!!? I have gotten movies that are 750mb in about 10, but not 5! That is massive bandwith! But I just can't get onto the hub, and it is really annoying.

You might wanna check the " Passive Connect " method , some people need to check that option , including myself because running my connection through a router directly , and routers changes alot of things compared to any other connection , so you might wanna go into options and see if you can find the Passive way

Thanks for the idea, but I am already in passive. It lets me find more items for the hub that I mainly use.

im on the dmbshare hub a lot, its set on passive and it always works fine for me... my name on it is halcyon686

Im not the biggest fan of DC lol i have my reasons , not like i care but it almost ended up in court , they stole some graphics i made a long time ago

But i like the DMB Share though
