how in the world do i slide on the b string from to 5 to 7 while keeping the d and g strings fretted on 7? please help

no prob man, your not an idiot at all...ive done that same syuff a million times...don't worry about it...

As for the harmonics ( figuring on your next question), I just fool around and hit...

the ones on the 7th frett...do whatever feels right...
