The Dave Matthews Pinky

Does anyone else have this? It's on your fretting hand. I noticed it basically after learning how to play songs like warehouse and crash and pantala, the stretchy songs

So, basically my pinky hangs out at this weird angle like it supposed to be fretting some hard to reach note. Anyone else have this?

Yeah, when I lay my hand down, fingers out, my pinky is kinda off away from the rest of them curved in a little, weird.

yeah...i always thought it looked kinda weird...it always want's to be reaching for a note 5 frets away.

my pinky is just generally odd looking. The thing that rocks is that the last knuckle b4 the nail is double jointed so I have no problem playing stuff like the 4221xx from Jimi Thing and Spoon. The down side is that my pinky has 2 positions: near the fretboard, nowhere near the fretboard. The bottom knuckle is doubly jointed as well so it snaps in and outta position; there is no in-between.

I definitely have the pinky. It sticks way out from the rest of my hand. It's wierd anyway. There is a huge lump at the first knuckle in the finger from where I jammed it years ago. Every once in a while it just stops bending. Also, the space between my index and thumb is about an inch larger than the one on my right hand. That always freaks people out.

I don't find 4221xx hard to play at all.. amazingly :-p same here though, my pinky just sticks way away from the rest of my hand.. weird :-p
