DD5/6 are basically meant to be used in the same way. the DD6 is a replacement. but i can see many instances where a simple little DD3 could do just as good a trick and if you are looking at doing double delay stuff, it's a lot cheaper than getting two DD5/6's

but still, FJ, it sure is wimpy. like a little runt brother...

spent a full weekend down in CT setting up stage at my buddy's house in preparation for our New Years bash...gave me my first full weekend of soundchecks with the new DD-6 and i must say, truly amazing...I'm using it for vocals and it really makes sound quality a thousand times better out of even just an ordinary acoustic amp...truly fun for singing such songs as Bartender and One (U2) with vocal solos at the end...anyway, we'll be recording the whole new years performance so i'll be able to provide you guys with some live songs from the bash for a chance to hear what the DD-6 can do...it's really good stuff...i've had it for a week and recommend it strongly

thanks man, i'll do my best to get a copy of it for the boards maybe...it's gonna be cool, they're recording the whole new years party with all performances, so it's going to be a fun time...i've already handed in my setlist to the sound kid and i'll be playing about 50 minutes or so with this list:

New Years Setlist (12/31):

1. One (U2 cover)
2. Bartender (DMB)
3. Africa (Howie Day)
4. Rocket Man (Jason Mraz)
5. Crush (DMB)
6. Together Alive (original)
7. All Along the Watchtower (DMB)

anyway wish me luck

haha...i agree with you, i kinda wanna put all the artists down but the version i'm using are based on the artists i wrote down and i didn't wanna put two names beside each song name..that would look odd...it's funny but, i guess you can say i'm doing a few cover covers...either way, unbelievably fun to play

i know. ;) i figured as much...it's what i do, but i always try to give props to the original artist, otherwise they wouldn't inspire great covers. :) g'luck, though.
