I am looking at purchasing an acoustic amp any suggestoins for anything under like seve hundred dollars or less

the best loudbox you can afford, i would recommend their new pro model, but thats around 800

I agree, if you are just looking for something to sit at your house a amp might be good for you. But if you are ever going to play out anywhere a small PA is just so much better in every way and doesnt cost that much more. But I do own a Peavey Eacoustic 112 and its fantastic. Three channels, lots of on board effects, adjustable tweeter, Eq'ers for the mic and guitar channel. Happy hunting.
