Easy song in terms of finger placements, but the rythym that makes the song amazing takes a while to achieve - get to the point where you can play the notes correctly, then focus on the rythym and muting. Took me about 2 months of on-and-off playing to really get it down.

trying to get the rhythm down in songs is all trial and error IMO... If it doesn't sound right, just adjust certain riffs until it sounds good... There is no real way to explain to someone rhythm... Its just kinda there and u gotta find it out on your own. Am I talking out of my ass???? sorry

No. I lately tought some friend of mine some Dave stuff. And he always asked about how to strum, I mostly couldn't tell him how I do it, cuz I just do it and don't think about it.

thats exactly what i was going to say... its hard to convert the 'black and white tabs' into how you play the song

i dunno if that makes any sense to anyone but whatever

Rythym isn't hard to explain if you make a tab with a strumming pattern and everything, Flake's rythym is a bitch but my teacher just wrote it out and I also have it perfected

if you can get down the opening notes, the 7-9 on E, then 7 on A, you can get the rest, or so I've found..
