Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

That wish bass you wanted looked an awful lot like a hyper bass.
And mike does have two fleas, even though they're obsolete now.
haha
theyre not leaving
why not to buy a wishbass:
the body isn't finished. it's raw wood with tung oil or sprayed with the same polyurethane you can buy in a hardware store.
the fretboard is finished with tung oil. it might last a month with roundwounds.
that unpolished aluminum control cover makes me want to puke.
no truss rod.
the bridge is held in place only by string tension, no screws or nothing. it's like a block of wood and that's it.

I think the guy is lying, I'm pretty sure in an interveiw michael said there is only 2 detunable bridges out there, he has one and some guy in germany has the other. I guess I could be mistaken. but he also said "I am the original owner and have quite frankly only taken it out of its case a few times since I bought it." why would you buy a $6,499 custom ordered bass and only take it out of it's case a few times. freaking people with a lot of freaking money.

I don't have the money I really wish I had a job right now. still too young. I did ask my mum if she felt like lending me the money but that didn't happen. and really I shouldn't be buying another bass. I need to get a better amp then this little crate I have. I'm looking into buying this guys SWR working mans 4004 head.

Yeah. Remember that when you're ready to buy a new bass, you can always sell your old one to help fund it.
