Recording Question

I was thinking about getting a USB audio interface to record at a higher quality than my pc mic... Anyone have any opinions on the Tascam US-122? Anyone know of any good, not too expensive methods to get good recording on a PC? Thanks.

I believe the Boss BR-532 is a nice one... A couple people here have those and say they work really well.

wow. that one looks cool, but when i just looked up the price it was $389 without the Compact Flash storage for it. The Tascam I was looking at was just $169 on sale and recoreded straight to the included Cubase software.... Does anyone know about how large the files the Boss stores are?

I'm pretty sure Trippin Hillbilly and Firedancer86 both have the Boss, you might want to pm them if you are really interested

has anyone used the Tascam? I am drawn in by the price

but i wonder if it is really that good...
