This is quite possibly the most random reference of Dave speak. Is the story funny? or just Dave's commentary on his nasal spray?

Dave mentions that he's addicted to Afrin during a D&T show. He got sick quite a bit during those winter tours.

it is very nicie, unitl you get addicted to it an dhave to use it all day to breathe properly. its not as hard to beat as nicotine or other drugs but i have definately been addicted to it.

Yeh I have a good davespeak from Bucknell in '99 - or I used to - where he tells a funny story about how he's addicted to it. But i'm sure he told a similar story at other shows that tour.

One of my favorite davespeaks is during that show too when he talks about "Night guy and morning guy." Anybody else have this show too?

It's freaking a nasal decongestant! It's not good for you, it's not addictive in the sense that you crave it but your nose and nasal passages can dry out when you stop using it. Not fun.
