Boss FS-6. Worth it?

Post by 6_strings_for_life »

I have a Boss RC-20XL Loop Station and I see that musicians friend has a FS-6 petal as a possible option. Has anyone used this before? What all things can you control when used with the RC-20? Would it really be worth the 50$?

no its not. all it does is change the phrase your on, a.k.a. the knob in the middle of the looper, and you really shouldnt have to switch phrases mid song unless youre cheating and pre-recording your loops.

hmm, I was thinking that it might change things like the reverse function too. But still, I do play some songs where I have two different loops going. Make one, write it, then make another one and switch back, which can sound cool. But maybe your right, it might just be a waste of money.
