I love them and utilize them a lot in writing...fantastic chord...they're really great for moving around because you don't have to worry about all that parralel motion crap w/ them.
but parallel motion is fun elliot!

I like major 9ths, but also major 7ths, they have that spooky, mysterious quality to them. Especially Fmaj7 and Cmaj7.
