New song...

A friend that is spending a semester in Spain has been bugging me to write a song about how much it sucks that she has to pay for internet over there so I finally wrote one. I call it "Paying For Internet In Spain Sucks" for lack of a better title.

goddamn i love your progressions, you have a terriffic ear for it.

although it is of jocular subject matter, the song is written very well and the lyrics can be applied to other more important things in life.

your singing is improving but you still need to make that last jump. keep it up.

i usually don't read other people's comments before i post about a song but i read andy's and i couldn't say anything about this song better than he already said it. great job

I'll post a complete tab sometime but if you want to mess around, it's in an open tuning with a capo on the 5th fret. Tune to open E except tune the 3rd string down to F# (The G string in regular tuning).

Thanks, and I agree, the song can be a lot more serious. I love the progression a lot so I will probably end up rewriting the words, but for now it's just a stupid little fun song. I should do more like this, I had a lot more fun writing this one, it's fun to be stupid sometimes...
