Strange enough. I thought the same thing. It was by far the greatest scat I have ever heard dave do. it was good.
loving wings owned. raven was awesome.
what a damn encore. wow. my gf was tired and ready to go and all a sudden i heard the nature intro and was stoked.
RR kind of killed two step. he was good but he made the whole thing about him and the ending build up break down just didnt hit as hard with him there. but it is my favorite closer. and I got one of my favprite openers.
and honestly, hunger isnt that bad live. wayg sucks, but not as bad as it could suck. and cant stop was bathroom break.
crazy night, tons of fun, i'll definiately have to get this when its available.
Looked like some good shows, glad you had a good time check. I'm listening to the Two Step with RR right now, it isnt terrible, but I'm just not sure his style really meshes with the song. It seems they had to completely change it to make him fit in on it.
well put my friend.
I LOVE two step as a closer, but in this instance I would have rather had watchtower.
but yeah, it just seemed like a fun night with a bunch of treats.
i just wish i had drinken less. I didnt get smashed but I had a half a fifth in the parking lot, then inside had 2 giant beers and one regular. i had tot ake an "If i had it all pee break" and wasnt happy about that.

Really? You don't think it's been overplayed and needs a rest?
And also, it's cool that even though you didn't hear the song you wanted (So Right, I believe) you still had a good time. A lot of people come back here upset with missing out on one or two songs, not looking at the whole picture. Glad to hear you jammed out and left feeling good regardless

im glad watchtower is on a little break, but wouldnt be pissed if it came back. last year i got my first watchtower and loved it.
as soon as it comes back though, people will say its overplayed just because we all have so many copies of it form live releases. like stay wasnt played at all during the 05 tour, and they bring it back this year (well techncally the winter tour) and you still here people say it was overplayted after being on a year bereak

Wha? I don't even know what that means...
Well what's the point of them playing stuff they didn't write? I would much rather see them play their own material.
me personally...a good song is a good song. i do like hearing them play their own stuff, but it isn't like the clog their shows w/ covers. they do 1 maybe 2 in a show if they even do one. it's not like you go to dmb concert and hear remakes the whole time. aawt is an amazing song and they do it w/ such energy...they make their own. just my opinion

yeah. Agreed.
and why in the hell did this become a aatw discussion? I think there was a misunderstanding.
point was that RR kinda blows on two step and would have been better suited for watchtower.

yeah i completely agree. nothing's wrong with some covers. i would much rather the band bring back their cover of the maker than some of their original songs (stares at i did it)
