why does he sing songs like this when he knows his voice is fucked up?? wouldn't you think he would not play Idea of you if he can't even belt out the chorus

i always wondered that too. like why he always puts two step or rapunzel at the end of shows when he knows he's not going to be able to pull off those falsettos.

i thought during the webcast that dave messed up his timing on one of the IOY choruses.

i was right, check the 2:20 mark on the youtube video

Haha yeah. And if you notice right after that it looks like Stefan is laughing at Dave.

He doesnt really sound sick to me, just worn out. He sounded fine when he was talking.

putting on that many shows has got to wear on a guys voice. If I had to put on 100+ shows a year I wouldn't have a voice either. Fuck! I go to one show and can't talk the next day.

what's amazing is, when ever you watch the video after the concert, he sounds terrible. but, I was there 8-12, and I didn't even notice. maybe it was everyone singing around me, but he sounded better than ever. But when i watch the video, i'm like "oh skeet, that sucks."

I think IOY is about how he is about a guy looking at the woman he loves and how in her innocence he sees her youth, or something along those lines. not to completely discredit the pedophelia angle.
