I'm In A Talent Show

I just auditioned in front of twelve judges of varying ages at my school where I soloed out The Stone with my new 12-string. It went really well and I think I made it (I got a standing 0 anyway...). I thought I would be shakey, but I had so much fun ending with the stressful looping bridge, standing up and thanking them (then walking to the door) before they could react.

Hehe...sorry, I just had to share what fun it was

That's awesome, I have never heard the stone on a 12 string, i bet it sounds sweet. THats ballsy playin that in front of people, no way I could do that. And you're right, that looping bridge sucks, it has caused me many frustrating moments where I wanna throw my guitar, oh well.

Its all good man...but try to figure out "the art of fingerstyle guitar" by wishbone ash...one of my new fav. acoustic masterpieces...it sounds like he has a whammy bar on the acoustic...EVERYONE, DL THIS SONG!!!
JUST AS GOOD AS TIMMY...OR...BETTER(?)!!!

...oh, and as for playing in front of people...i have been doing it for 2 years weekly at my youth group, so it wasn't that bad

sweet my gf's bro leads worship alot, he is crazy good. He has asked em to play a few times with them, I just have no confidence im my guitar playing abilities, maybe someday soon.

No...having some trouble with my rec. systems...should be up for me to try to put it up soon!

Go to the MP3 forum and take a look at the mp3 i just put up (12-string improv)...if you think that is cool, then tell me if you want to hear the rest of them...peace

Just checked it out, very cool. The middle part reminded me of Tool, the song Schism in a weird way. Great little thing to just chill too. Do you have covers, or just original stuff?
